Tekno4 builds new decanters, tailored to each customer’s needs, used to separate a solid from a liquid by mechanically accelerating the natural decanting process, based on the difference in specific weight between the two elements.
Automatic process control, from feed to discharge
The process is managed and controlled by a PLC, installed inside the electrical panel, which continuously monitors the machine’s status and automatically adjusts the working parameters based on the physical variations of the product. The operator interface is a touch screen panel, for easy data input.
Feed
The product enters the bowl through the central feed pipe.
Bowl rotation
The bowl rotates at high speed, using centrifugal force to separate the product.
PLC control
The PLC monitors the machine’s status and automatically adjusts the parameters.
Differentiated discharge
Clarified liquid and dewatered solid are discharged separately.

VGA and P series
The difference between the VGA models (Automatic Differential Speed Variation) and the P models (Proportional) is that on the VGA the differential speed is adjusted automatically, while on the P models the differential speed is fixed.
